Based on skill inventory & training needs identified by Heads of Divisions/Section Supervisors various training inputs are planned & implemented to achieve the training objective. Various schemes related to training in operation are:-

Employee Development Programme

  • General workmen, Messengers(Unskilled categories)
  • Operational and Maintenance staff like Operator/Technician/Master Technician
  • Supervisory Development programme for supervisory staff(both from field and office)
  • Development programmes for office staff.

Executive Development Programme

  • Up to the level of Assistant Managers
  • Dy.Managers/Managers
  • Chief Managers and above

The above training activities are of following classes:-

  • Inhouse training through internal/external faculty.
  • Outside specialised training courses. Employees are sponsored to various renowned training institutes/organisation in the country.
  • Customer/client training/New system/process etc.
  • Foreign training under Colombo Plan, UNDP, etc.
